Choir Practice at Holland Home Hosts Pleasant Valley Reception
Mr and Mrs E L Holland entertained the First Presbyterian Church choir last evening at their eight mile Pleasant Valley home. The guests arrived by tallyho drawn by horses to the newly built 86 acre residence. After rehearsal, the group enjoyed a long dining table with hot apple dumplings doughnuts coffee and real cream. Mrs Holland, a superior cook, impressed guests with the apple dumplings. The Hollands have just completed a palatial home in Pleasant Valley noted for its fertile district.
