Study the Ballot and Voter Intent
The piece argues voters err when ballots are complex and party tickets sweep strong candidates into office, carrying along weaker ones despite voters’ true intentions. It notes many votes miscarry due to ballot design and party influence on outcomes.
Voting guidance for coming election cautions on ballots
The piece warns voters to wake early and study matters, noting the risk of the wrong candidate winning when voters think they vote for someone else. It instructs to mark the party ticket head and cross the desired name on the opposite ticket, and to scratch out opposing names if two candidates run for an office. It advises consulting a trusted source if unsure.
