Fire Breaks Out on Germany's Big Plane

Five were injured when a German airship crashed in harbor after a harbor fire aboard the zeppelin TO X. Thanksgiving program by Briggsdale B P U featured a Pilgrim and Indian tableau with solos and piano, arranged by Milas Hevlah May Franklin as fellowship chairman. Bil Hewits dressed as an Indian led the first impersonation while Nettie Moeller sang Red Wing. Darlas Hewitt portrayed a solitary Pilgrim dad as Mabel Moeller sang Indian wind. Barry Hewitt acted the Indian and Donna Herrick a Pilgrim maiden who falls in love, with Silver Belt won by a trio Arthur Mabel and Nettie Moeller, accompanied by Miss Rhoadermer at the piano.

Mead farmer yields strong crop in 15 1/2 acre field

Emil Olson of Mead, grower for the Longmont factory, reported a ward of 24.62 tons from a 15 1/2 acre field. Great Western credited him with a compliment on the excellent yield. The 378,958 pounds of heata is among the district's best yields this year.
