Jury weighs vehicular homicide case in Glenmere Park
District Court hears Dale Ritter age 21 on vehicular homicide charges in the death of 14 year old Dale Soto after being run down at 17th Avenue and Lakeside Drive. Prosecutors call four witnesses including a bicycle incident witness and a passenger in the Ritter car. The trial began Tuesday and resumed Wednesday morning before Judge Hugh H. Arnold.

Colorado Springs gas tap moratorium ends January 1
Colorado Springs votes to end a five month moratorium on natural gas tap permits effective January 1. The city will not issue new permits next year unless it purchases 1.2 million gallons of propane from Coastal States Gas Corp. If filled, up to 1,300 single family tap permits could be issued, according to City Utilities Director James C. Phillips.
