CU student rescued from canyon ledge near Boulder
An 18 year old University of Colorado student Mark Schemmer was rescued after spending more than nine hours on a ledge 300 feet above Eldorado Springs Canyon. He and fellow climber Renald Black began descent Friday evening near dusk and required Rocky Mountain Rescue Group assistance. Schemmer suffered exposure and rope burns but is in good condition at Boulder Community Hospital.
