Montrose school board moved to enforce a policy banning shoulder length hair for male students once the temporary restraining order is dissolved. Julian and Paul Gallegos, brothers aged 15 and 14, filed a damage suit alleging unfair hair rules.

Firewood cutting expanded in Colorado forests
US Forest Service has broadened permission to cut free firewood in the Arapaho Roosevelt Pike and San Isabel National Forests to ease the energy shortage.
