Carolyn McCrary Refuses Extradition to Dallas
Carolyn McCrary, 45, one of five McCrary family members suspected of up to 22 murders across states, refused to waive extradition to Dallas on armed robbery charges. An extradition hearing is set for Dec. 15 with papers to be presented by the Dallas County DA, the Texas attorney general, and the governors of Texas and California. She is also wanted in Colorado for a murder charge and is serving a nine month sentence for harboring a fugitive in Santa Barbara, California.

Two fined for shooting eagles in Colorado Wyoming case
In Denver a sheep rancher Dean Visintainer and deputy Sheriff Joe Evans were fined 2300 dollars each for shooting golden eagles from a helicopter. Visintainer paid 1700 dollars and six months probation, Evans 500 dollars and six months probation. They pleaded guilty to five counts each for hunting eagles in Dec 1970 and Jan 1971. The case involved Buffalo Flying Service and manager Doyle Vaughan. World Bank lent Brazil 61 million to fund 423 miles of highways, total project cost 128 trillion.
