Miss Hall Reaches Semifinal in National Piano Contest

Merionall Ti of Greeley daughter of Mr and Mrs Ti joins semifinalist field at the Nations Federation of Music Clubs piano contest in Minneapolis Minnesota. In the first day of content Monday Beothar planets Miss Hall the Michigan representative and Juror Rappaport of Crooklyn were tied for entry. Rappaport was eliminated and Hall with Dal en Raul ranked second. Finals to be broadcast on WCCO probably Wednesday at 6 30 p m Mountain Standard time according to telegram from Hall and her daughter.

Disabled Veterans Honoring with Buddy Poppy Drive

Pearce Pleads Guilty of Kidnapping Boettcher

In Denver, Carl W. Pearce, 46, a Denver broker, pleaded guilty in federal court to kidnapping Charles Boettcher and holding him for sixty thousand dollars. The case against Pearce arose from a motive linked to a ransom demand and was entered alongside other court actions involving judgments and local jail detentions.

Terror Reign Ended by Bandit Killing in Trinidad

May 24 Trinidad, Calo. A lone bandit Montoya terrorizing the town since Friday is killed by Allen Jeffryes after robbing and forcing aid in holdups. Montoya, who with a woman companion Lera led a crime spree that left more than a dozen victims. Jeffryes, who was briefly forced to assist, shot Montoya during a confrontation near the house. Montoya died within minutes. Sheriff G A Duling and investigators tied the events to a string of holdups and car thefts.

McFadden Attacks Woodin and Treasury Officials

City Hi Girls elects officers at Greeley High School

Miss Bliss presided as president of the Girls Association for next year at Greeley High School. Mary Louise Atkinson was chosen vice president, Delty Twist secretary, Carle Pearson treasurer, and Ruth Jones social service chairman.
