Western towns plan growth as 1990 population rise eyed
Larimer-Weld planner Ben Cruce told a meeting in Greeley that the west has time to plan for rapid growth but warned that even mountain areas show weekend urbanizing patterns from camper use. He projected the Greeley Loveland Fort Collins triangle rising to 380000 by 1990 from 180000. He urged ahead planning considering environmental impacts and housing needs.
