Six photographers tied for first in the May competition at the University Center. Prizes covered color slides on geometric design and prints on creative photography. An instructional note outlines two methods to achieve solarization. Dilute fresh developer stock to six parts water if control is needed, or reuse old working solution when amber colored. Exposure steps include brief white light shots, followed by development, fixing, washing, and a blue toner step at high temperature for bromide or cold tone papers. Conclude with guidance to mail questions with a self addressed stamped envelope.
Gregley earned second best of show in the Professional Photographers of America contest during the Alaska convention in Anchorage.
