Sorenson Family Travels to Denmark for Golden Wedding
Mr and Mrs S Sorenson depart on the 28th for Denmark to celebrate Mrs Sorenson's parents' golden wedding. They take their three younger children while the two older girls stay behind, planning a summer stay of at least three months. A 7 year old girl Eva Warner was fatally struck near Windsor by the 9 oclock Colorado and Southern passenger train as she attempted to cross a cattle guard en route to school. Barn Fire Destroys Ault Ranch Barn and Hazards Livestock
A traction engine near the Bayes ranch two and a quarter miles from Ault started a fire that consumed a small barn. A valuable horse nearly perished before escape, harness was damaged, and several setting hens perished in the blaze. The Bayes ranch has suffered several misfortunes in years past.

Tragic Death From Mistaken Liquor at Prairie Ranch
