Briggsdale Alumni Gather for Eighth Annual Meeting
Briggsdale High School hosted the Briggsdale Alumni association for its eighth annual gathering on a Saturday evening. Dorothy Forman of Greeley presided and introduced 1056 officers, with Charles Wiley of Greeley as vice president and Mary Margaret Cohen of Stigsdale as secretary-treasurer. Greeley members Joyce Snyder and Shirley Dressat aided the planning committee. Reports from nominating chair Harriette Hilger and ballots by Tose Ball and Pearl Buemeau highlighted the session. Officers for 1957 include Denver native Bil Jensen as president and Langmoutn resident Billeen Donovan as vice president.

Dent and Margaret Krieger of Loveland served as secretary treasurer with Jarry E. Greene, ex superintendent of Meiggsdale schools and editor of Briggsdale Bousler, giving the Invocation. Chapter BE of PEO flus program on hats entertained Friday by Mrs BE S Roger with cohosts and guests from Denver. The luncheon hosted 04 attendees featured a spring fancy hats display by Mrs Paul McKee Alva WD Armenhovt and Mrs Ted Stockfieth. Mrs McKee demonstrated hat reuse and tips on face shapes while Mrs Stockfieth read poems. A hat fashion parade impressed attendees. May 18 luncheon planned at Faculty lab and continuation at Mrs Don Stewart’s home.

Ciddle a Greeley High School graduate left Tuesday for a 45 day leave before heading to Europe.

The Greeley High School will present Shakespeare's comedy Taming of the Shrew on May 18 and 19 in the auditorium.
