Pentagon completes first phase of Vietnam dog pullout
Washington AP reports the Pentagon has finished the initial phase of withdrawing U S war dogs with 60 canines returning to Lackland AFB Texas. The dogs served as scouts sentries and trackers with Army Air Force and Marines and will be reassigned to U S installations or other agencies after quarantine.
