Misery tax exemptions take effect immediately in Colorado

Attorney General Dyron G. Rogers ruled that the five per cent service tax, reenacted by the general assembly, becomes effective at once as of Monday. The ruling states the tax cannot be imposed on services provided by doctors, dentists, hospitals, waterworks, water districts, or cemeteries starting that day.

Lightning Kills Orchard Farmer in Field Near Orchard

A farmer identified as Asade Tulcl Pesia Fort Mor Ba Minty o Guatay Barbosun 87 was struck by lightning and killed instantly while driving a farm wagon about 10 miles north of Orchard between 5 and 6 pm yesterday. Coroner J H Fabigon confirmed a lightning stroke caused the death. Sampson’s belly was reportedly tangled over an axle as the body lay in the field. Altho the actor apparently roened about the fell for some time, the official ruling stands.

Bandits Force Doctor To Remove Bullet With Razor Blade

In Chicago on May 3 two gunmen who killed a man and wounded two officers during a tavern robbery forced a doctor to extract a bullet from a robber using a razor blade.
