At a county meeting two men displayed a road grader blade to illustrate bid quality as commissioners reviewed seven prior bids for items from road compactors to chemicals. Garnsey and Wheeler Tractor Co. of Greeley appeared low on steel blades at 29050 for 1,750 units, with HW Moore Equipment Co. of Commerce City and MacDonald Equipment Co. bidding higher. For heat treated blades Moore bid 49815 and Wagner Equipment Co. 56056, while CF&I blades faced questions over bolt-hole alignment.
