Weld County commissioners endorsed the Narrows dam and reservoir project at its western Morgen County site after officials from the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District urged support. The panel noted endorsements from Fort Lupton Hudson Brighton and requests from Thornton and Adams County officials. Opponents faced criticism as commissioners weighed costs versus benefits for irrigation and regional water supply.
