The Hareh ranch run by J. W. Hareh achieved notable results in a large cow sale. Ten top cattle averaged 50.35 per head, twenty leader cattle averaged 423.20, and the full herd including good heifers averaged 27.47. The sale was managed by Coal. J. W. Shearer.

Man accused of false pretenses over spud payments
Bob Austin of Windsor area was arrested on a Johnstown warrant for obtaining goods under false pretenses. He allegedly bought six to seven carloads of potatoes from Johnstown farmers with checks later dishonored. Austin says payment was stopped because the checks were not up to standard. Mrs. O C Prunty of far southwest of Greeley reports two letters from her brother John W Leuty now traveling in Australia. Leuty formerly worked for Home Electric Light Co in Greeley and travels with banker Mr Smith of Hancock Minnesota who has interests in Australian diamond mines. They passed through town around late January and plan to stay in Australia through the summer.

Teachers Hear Gipsy Smith in Denver Visit
