Air Force to Inactivate Air Division
The United States Air Force will deactivate the Ear-fung sith Air Division of the Air Defense Command on July 1. Units of the 6th Air Division, headquartered at Stewart AFB, N.Y., will be reassigned to the 26th Air Division at Hancock Field near Syracuse to consolidate headquarters and save manpower.
