Sterling Ranch Near Kuner Sells At 150 Per Acre
One of the Sterling ranches near Kuner changes hands for 48900 dollars equals 229 acres. J R Herbert of Chicago sold it to J I Carper Merritt and partners. The property on level ground near the Kuner district has been drained and subdivided, developed for cattle and crops, and is expected to become a major farming area. Mrs Herbert plans to supervise cultivation herself.

Funeral services for John Bert rand Parr Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Macy's undertaking parlour. The 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Barr died Tuesday evening at the family home near Peckham after a brief battle with diabetes. He was the oldest of three boys, with a five-year-old brother and a four-day-old infant sibling.
