James Millard Nominated by Independents in City Election

James Millard, of 1012 Fifth Street, nominated by independents for mayor at a convention held Wednesday night at the junior high school. About 200 attended. 119 ballots cast amid no debate. Twins Born After Mother's Death Reported Healthy

Mrs Catherine Amen Injured in Accident Near Keenesburg

Catherine Amen, 58, of Renneshurst, is in Greeley hospital after a Wednesday crash four miles east of Keenesburg. She suffered four broken ribs and other injuries. driver Jota Amen received treatment and was released. A passenger, James Burroughs of Brighton, was taken to a Denver hospital with unspecified injuries.

Ralph English Dies of Heart Ailment in California

Ralph English aged 47, longtime Greeley resident and former banker, died Wednesday in San Diego California after a heart illness. He graduated from Greeley High School and worked at Greeley National Bank before moving to California where he served 17 years with First National Bank of San Diego Coronado branch as assistant cashier and manager. Survivors include his wife Evelyn, a daughter Nancy, two brothers Elbert G English of Greeley and Clarence M English of San Diego, a sister Birytte Ashworth of Ventura, and his parents FB English and Aten English. He was laid to rest in Ted Word Estates California.

Buckingham Woman Hurt In Car Upset

Buckingham, Mrs. Ed ward Cassidy, 61, sustained cuts and bruises after a 1937 Ford, driven by Patrolman Gilbert Dunn, ran off a 2100 foot embankment on Lina Hill road east of Priggedale.
