Her LaSalle home is in the area and she attends Greeley high school in town. Her sister Susie Beattie, a trained nurse, is in a Denver hospital recovering from an appendicitis operation.

Mrs Ida Pearson wife of Hans Pearson a prominent farmer died at her home two miles northeast of Ault after a year long illness. Death was due to paralysis. She was forty one and survived by her husband and two children a five year old son and a three year old daughter. The funeral will be held from the Swachfish church in Eaton Tuesday afternoon.

An older brother saved six year old George Paul when a fractious colt kicked and stamped him in the barnyard near Evans. The boy sustains a badly lacerated back and bruises. no bones are broken. Longmont defeats Northern Colorado Power in a case seeking a permanent injunction to stop the city from taking over the lighting plant built by Longmont Service company.
