Senate Advances Bill to Extend Colony Corporate Life
The Senate moved a bill to extend the life of all colony or colonial companies to January 1 1929 and thus render any election unnecessary. Two Big Irrigation Projects Planned in Weld County
The Weld county board of commissioners canvassed votes for two large irrigation ventures Denver-Greeley Valley district and Greeley-Poudre project. Both passed with virtually no opposition and set April 3 as election day. District No. 1 will have two directors and cover about 100000 acres. three objectors were dropped. The Greeley-Poudre district spans Crow Creek Pleasant Valley and Lone Tree with three objectors also withdrawn.

Frame Church Plan Moves Forward In Greeley
The First Christian church will tear down the old temporary frame structure on Monday to begin a $30,000 edifice. Wayne Patterson drafts the plans for a colonial style auditorium style church, 100 by 85 feet, forty feet high to the cornice, with a twelve foot basement and green enameled brick base, white pressed brick above. Special to the Daily Tribune Denver March 6. Peter Mortimer, claiming to be a trainer, was found early this morning in Hop Alley tenderloin with stab wounds to leg and arm. He had fallen while seeking a doctor. His wife Lizzie Mortimer has been arrested for alleged deed. Jealousy is given as the cause.
