W H Dicker, a demented visitor to Greeley, lies in a hospital in Ia mented condition after arrival from Central City. Relatives have not yet been reached. Sequel to stabbing ends in brutal beating
Dan Busch who took part in a stabbing affray at a Tuesday night dance attempted another knife attack last night and was severely beaten. Police had been seeking him. He entered the East Side livery stable to use a phone but was resisted, leading to a rapid confrontation and a brutal beating by the stable man.

Local man dragged from street amid unclear attack
A man was dragged from the walk and lay unconscious for several minutes before revival. Police were not alerted immediately. it is believed friends may have assisted in removing him from town.
Eviction at Night Strikes Cottage Hotel in Kersey
Report from Kersey states Mrs. McMurray Masters arrived from Denver on Wednesday night and shortly after, twelve families and their belongings were evicted from the Cottage hotel, the oldest house in town. No reason given for the eviction.

Charged With Collier Murder
Longmont reports the arrest of L. S. Mayhew and his wife for the murder of Will Collier, a ranchman. Mayhew was seized last night and spirited to Boulder, then moved to another machine. His wife was unaware until she rode the train to Berthoud and was also taken into custody. Authorities keep the couple’s location secret citing violence risk.

Engineer killed in spur drum accident near Santa Susana
Ventura March 4 J H A Burgess stationary engineer at Southern Pacific quarries met a horrible death while tending a large drum and steel cable that raised the derrick. The engine ran away and he was caught in the cable wound on the drum his head severed and body crushed. Cause of the accident unknown.
