Mrs Chris Koenig reports Grover Hereford little league teams played at Burns Sunday afternoon and will play at Pine Bluffs Friday about 20 youngsters are taking part. Coaches are Francis Duggan Gayle Weber and Darold Bauman. C C Moore of Pocatello Idaho, former school superintendent here in the thirties, now an instructor at Pocatello College, was visiting. Mr and Mrs Lucky Burbach are at home on the parental Robert Burbach farm after a honeymoon in the mountains. Visitors to Frank Aicher home included Mrs Joy Aicher and her daughter from Milliken. Mr and Mrs John Poisel of Cranger Washington visited relatives here. Nine Boy Scouts will go to Camp Delatour next Sunday. Duggen and Arthur Harris will transport them. Mrs John Thompson of Greeley spent weekend with her mother in law and sister. Cindy Shullau accompanied her grandmother Mrs John Thompson on a trip to California. Open house for the 66th anniversary of Mr and Mrs Henry Kallsen at Lions Hall Sunday July 6 from 2 to 7 pm. Regular session discussed. Members raised funds as local drive continued. United Fund goal lowered. Swimming program dropped due to lack of volunteers as mothers did not step forward to chaperone.
