Assault With Intent to Kill Follows Estes Park Shooting
Fort Collins reports district attorney June 26 will file assault with intent to kill charges against D. L. Donohue 33 after a shooting in Estes Park. E. Holton was wounded in the left thigh during a scuffle while Donohue was being transported following an automobile accident. Holton was hospitalized and Shoril Gooch of Larama county notes the struggle began after Donohue was at a doctor’s office for examination. Bystanders restrained Donohue and took him to a Estes Park jail as Holton was moved to hospital. Sheriff Gooch says E. M. Hoppis will serve in Holton’s place until recovery.
