Land use bill passage unlikely in Colorado legislature
Associated Press report from Denver notes that prospects for any land use bill this year are remote. Sen. Joe Schieffelin says Senate Republicans will accept only five changes, while House conferees refuse. An interim committee may draft a new bill for the 1974 session or a referendum by voters could be pursued. Gov Love prefers the House version but would accept the conference compromise.
