D R McArthur sues Mrs H N Salyers, formerly Bertha Mitchell, in district court seeking to stop construction of a residence south of Teachers College on Nineteenth street. The case centers on an agreement limiting building to one house on the site and redirecting the front to align with McArthur's, with potential reversion of the site if violated. Witnesses include Sidney Frazier and George B Heing. Bowman of Denver expected as defense witness. A speeding car driven by Sunshine Grant carrying a singing party skidded near Denver on the Golden road and killed 20 year old Hagel Scott. Three others were seriously injured as police linked the crash to an impromptu road race among five Negro drivers. A second car driven by W H Hayes crashed into the wreckage. Hayes and three passengers escaped serious injury as authorities investigated the incident.
