Mrs Sarah B. Palmer sues for divorce from Frank Palmer in county court. They wed in Rockwell Texas on November 13 1889 and have four children. William 19, John 18, James 15 and Blanche. The complaint cites cruel grounds including acts of extreme cruelty and drunkenness.

Greeley Woman Robbed and Hospitalized in Denver

Special to the Tribune Denver June 23 Mrs Anna Lynch 32 a widow from Greeley was robbed of 70 dollars and left ill with fever after sleeping in weeds by the Platte river near Fifteenth street She wandered the city after the loss then slept by the riverbank and suffered hunger and dirtied clothes Patrolman Durkin found her in a pitiable state awaiting her son's arrival who is due in Denver that evening

Van Churchill Named Youngest School Principal

Harry Van Churchill, son of Isabelle Churchill, former Colorado Federation of Women's Clubs president and suffrage lecturer, is named the youngest graded school principal by the Denver board of education. A Greeley native, he attended the Normal school there and has taught at Wyman School for three years after coming from Colorado College. He won the silver cup for the principals’ 100 yard dash at a Union Park field meet.

Physicians Surprise Dr. Ringle on Birthday

Dr. C. A. Ringle forgot his birthday until arriving home to find ten physicians gathered. Mrs. Ringle hosted a 6:30 dinner with roses and a single candle birthday cake. Guests included Mrs. J. G. Hughes and Misses Margaret Ringle and Clara Hughes who helped serve.

John Mahoney of Grover was rushed to a hospital in serious condition after a rattlesnake venom entered a small cut on his hand from a boot. Doctors say he will likely recover and suffer illness for a few days, with prior venom incidents in his past.

Three years after a near fatal rattlesnake encounter Mahoney tried an experiment with snakes on his ranch. A larger snake struck his boot, the leather blocked the fangs but a small cut swelled. He was cauterized and taken to a physician in Denver. doctors expect recovery.

Amid late rains and halted work on the March reservoir and laterals in Weld county, many dry farmers lose daily income of three to five dollars.
