Eaton Plans Tour of Old Homes Bicentennial Events
Eaton hosts a four home tour featuring early 1880s to 1905 houses as part of four days of bicentennial activities. Highlights include the Ed Smille tere, Dr Bellrose, Christ Schunidt, Lee Maxwell, Montgomery, and Bill Noberys homes. Public tour with a modest fee precedes a townwide celebration with a centennial store selling books, buckles, coins, mugs, quills, pillows, and homemade items to benefit the celebration.

Johnstown to get flag in ceremony Saturday
The Johnstown centennial committee will receive its flag before the Barbecue Day parade at 10 a.m. Activities include a 4 a.m. breakfast, a pet and doll parade, an antiques arts and crafts show, senior citizen program at Roosevelt High, horseshoe pitching, a Pony Express race, a barbecue dinner at the park, and various booths and exhibits around town.

Robbery Suspect Captured After Wyoming Bar Hostage Case
Two men robbed the Hawk Club Bar in Baggs Wyoming and took a woman bartender hostage. One suspect was captured west of Craig Colorado within hours. The hostage reportedly jumped free and was found unharmed. A pursuit across the Colorado Wyoming line led to a Maybell arrest. a manhunt continued along the Snake River border area.

State Falls Short of Estimated Revenue
