Weld 4-H Members Shine In Colorado State Contest
Weld County 4-H members excel at the 28th annual Colorado State 4-H competition at CSU Fort Collins. Adams County won five plated events with 2,008 points. Weld placed second with 1,834, ahead of Fremont, Larimer, and Otoe counties. Team and individual placings featured Jerry Casey tied for first in Jersey judging and Tom Chalk's swine judging win, with Kathy Herbst also earning blue ribbons.
