Lofgren Dies at Home After Illness
David R. Lofgren died Monday night at 9 at his home 721 Fifth Street after a ten day illness. He was 77 and had lived in eastern Colorado before moving to Greeley fifteen years ago. He is survived by his widow and seven children including Mrs. Tom Moss and sons Charlie, Dave, John, Oscar, and Frank. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Gustafson and Rev. Harter presiding.

Union Pacific Branch Tracks Near LaSalle Ready July First
LaSalle June 14 work on surfacing tracks between Sand Creek and LaSalle on the Union Pacific branch is underway.
