Milliken Ladies Aid Picnic and Tuesday Meeting
Members of Ye Ladies Aid and families gathered at Island Grove Park for a picnic at noon on Wednesday with Mrs. Dave Bassett and Mia. French as hosts. About $6 were present. In the afternoon the Ald meeting convened with Mrs. C. B. Altwater presiding in Mrs. Harris's absence. Devotionals led by Merc. J. E. Cox quoted Psalms 23 and 24. Committee reports showed a $4.65 profit from a food sale at Crawford's the prior Saturday. Next gathering set for June 19 hosted by Myre, Schropp, and Mes Parlaay. Heavy rain interrupted activities for about 30 minutes.
