The Union Pacific flyer will carry shipments to Denver and return to the vet butter factory. cream will be paid 10 cents more per pound for sweet cream versus sour cream.
Windsor June 1 with the city jail doors open for four months and the hospital empty as mild chicken pox spreads. Marshal Jesse Forbes balances police work and street improvements while undertakers profit from a moving picture show. Locals boast extra sun and rain and claim crops will prosper.
Train schedules shift tomorrow morning at Greeley with both the Denver Laramie and Union Pacific lines altering times. The Union Pacific morning Denver bound runs arrive at 7 65 and depart 7 15, while the Denver Laramie morning departure is moved from 8 30 to an earlier hour. Garwood, chairman of the reorganized board, petitions U S district court for a receiver to protect creditors of the Denver Laramie Northwestern railroad claiming $425 000 floating indebtedness and insolvency The filing seeks court control of the railroad as a trust fund and to restrain officers and agents from interference with the receiver amid threats from a rival faction and alleged credit damage by reports
A. B. Craig, a pharmacist in Fezer's, reunited with his brother F. M. Craig after thirty years. The miner, 60, arrived unannounced in Greeley with a roll of cash, stayed overnight, then left before dawn to continue his travels from Alaska to Goldfield Nevada and Iowa. He offered no detailed explanation for the long absence.
Linden Crone, a six year old from Greeley, watched an English sparrow steal worms from a robin. He noted the sparrow tailed the robin, stealing each worm as the robin unearthed them. The boy suspects the sparrow may have changed diet amid high living costs and will be studied by naturalists.
