Alaskan crude pipeline plan linked to Gulf of Alaska route
A spokesman described a route from the Puget Sound area to the eastern U S via Chicago for Alaska crude. The plan envisions a 800 mile high diameter pipeline to move oil from Alaska to the lower forty eight. Major oil companies including Amplic, Highfield, and Pipe Line Corp will conduct a feasibility study and may start construction by year end.

Aspen sale disclosed by Snowspen American Corp, a wholly owned unit of Ameri cas Comment Corp, to California firm Golub. The deal includes two commercial buildings and a planned new structure near Aspen, totaling more than 30 million dollars with leaseback to the seller.
