County of Mourning and a Parkside Romance
In a New York boarding house a mourner Miss Conway captivates Andy Donovan with a tale of a vanished Italian fiancé Count Fernando Mazzini. Through shared grief they grow close, he helps her heal, and they announce an engagement aided by a forged Count. Maggie confesses a similar ruse about Big Mike Sullivan’s wedding invite.
