Washington AP reports that Denver was added to the government’s list of major labor areas with substantial unemployment. The June revision dropped Indianapolis Terre Haute Des Moines Roanoke Charlotte-Gastonia and Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point from the list, reducing total areas to 124. Substantial unemployment means a rate of 6 percent or more, seasonally adjusted.
