Small Cyclone Wrecks Farr Barn on Willow Creek

A small cyclone Wednesday night wrecked the Farr barn on Willow Creek near Laie Tree, tearing the roof and damaging the structure. Efri Anderson, a nearby rancher, reported multiple minor cyclones in the Greeley area, but no major damage beyond the barn. Authorities noted unsettled weather with sprinkles and wind.

Artillery Display Set At Summer Session In Colorado

Army field pieces and military equipment will be brought to the campus for inspection in a summer session at the Colorado College. Two Weld County Men At Aggie Poultry School

Two Weld County men will have a part on the program of the fifth annual poultry school sponsored by the department of poultry husbandry at Colorado State College in Fort Collins July 1-14. Leonard Anhalt of Greeley and another hatcheryman will speak on the Tuesday morning program at 10 15 with Pied Experiences in Contrating Pol-orum. Windsor Youth Dies of Burns at Cemetery Work

Windsor July 7 Edwards Hott 139 year old son of Mr and Mrs John Hoth of Walnut street died at Windsor Hospital Friday morning at 9 90 from severe burns. He received the burns last Saturday while using a weed burner at the cemetery as a gasoline tank connection detached and sparks ignited his clothing. In trying to save him he rolled on gravel then ran to an irrigation bus and was rushed to hospital by Henry Kurz caretaker of the cemetery. The burns covered his body from crest to stomach a leg and both arms. His condition briefly improved Monday but death seemed certain within days. He is survived by his parents and two younger sisters.

Suspect in Hotchkiss Slaying Surrenders

Delta July 1 Thomas Aten surrendered voluntarily yesterday afternoon at the ranch home of Sam Allen near Hotchkiss. Delta officers reported the event occurred at 4 o'clock, Sheriff Allen Pittman and Sheriff Ray Lockhart were present. The man had been hunted since the shooting of Merle Cochran near Grand Mesa.
