Fireworks Blast Kills Five at Idaho Drug Store

A preholiday fireworks explosion at a combined drug store and beauty parlor in Idaho killed five people and injured 16, including women and children. Fire Chief L P Lessinger reported the front of the building ripped open as bystanders fled, with about 30 people inside at the time. Governor of Colorado Found Guilty in Fraud Trial

A federal jury in Indianapolis convicted former Colorado governor Morley and four other former officials and associates from Marley & Co of running a large investment fraud scheme. Bandits Rob Society Woman of 100000 in Jewels

Bandits robbed a society matron early Friday of jewels valued at 100000, two platinum necklace sets with diamonds and two platinum rings.
