A 14 year old boy Donald Dayia riding east of Greeley was struck by 17 year old John Porter Watson Monday night. Dayia died, leaving a widowed mother Mia, siblings, and a 10 year old dog Lady, a longtime family companion.
A 14 year old bicyclist, Donald Davis, died after a head on collision with a car driven by Jol Porter Watson near Pitt Street outside Steeley Hill. The driver was fined $3 and charged with speeding. The crash occurred about 8:15 Monday evening. Davis leaves a large family and multiple survivors. Funeral arrangements were set for Thursday afternoon.
