Mrs. Merton Grove of Kersey Dies After Heart Attack

Mrs. Merton Gross of Kersey died Sunday afternoon at Grenley hospital after a heart attack while teaching at the Methodist Sunday school in Greely. Native of Dixinoal, Maine, she came to Kersey with her parents 24 years ago. One Killed and Six Injured in Weld Sunday

A deadly crash near Weld Sunday left one person dead and six injured. Edward Kelly, 40, of Fort Collins, was badly injured while riding with Cheatwood. Cheatwood’s car, a coach, struck a bridge and plunged 12 feet into a canal. The vehicle remained upright. Kelly was rushed to Greeley hospital. Investigators consider sleep at the wheel or a possible heart attack.
