The month opens with multiple weddings including Anna Graham and Dickson Smillie of Paton in Eaton. Rev H C Dickinaen presided as Anna wore white crepe de chine, with about sixty guests attending. The couple will reside on Smillie’s Colorado ranch after a brief honeymoon.
A pretty June wedding was held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr and Mrs Robert Graham. Kathryn Graham became the bride of W C Davis in a 2 o'clock ceremony conducted by Rev J J Lace. Pink and white roses adorned the decorations. Miss Raby Rose played the march and Mrs Harry Thompson sang All For You. The bride, a popular Greeley young lady, and the Cleveland born groom, a civil engineer, will reside in Cleveland after the ceremony.
Miss Isabel Cox and Ernest Hood married Wednesday at the bride’s mother Mrs Catherine Cox Salida home. The ceremony at 10 am was by the Salida Methodist minister. The bride, a milliner, has worked in Greeley eighteen months. Hood, from Nevada Mo, works for Greeley Electrical Supply. They plan a state-resort honeymoon and will reside at 916 Fourteenth Avenue Greeley.
Purdy Forward Harvey Forward and Mina Edne Purdy were married in Pueblo Wednesday morning, a surprise to their Greeley friends. Rev D D Forward officiated around six o'clock as the couple tied the knot.

Margaret Cook daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Cook died in Pueblo Tuesday morning from cholera infantum. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Windsor home with burial in the local cemetery.

The Rev Parry-Thomas Parf Thomas, 43, died Wednesday at Mbert Work sanitarium in Pueblo after years of declining health. Born in Northenshire South Wales he studied at St Rees College and Dunham University later becoming deacon at 23 and priest at 26. He preached in Fairhaven Muscatine Luverne and served as rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Greenley before illness confined him to sanitariums. Survived by a widow and two children, the family lives in Greeley. Funeral arrangements are pending. Rev Bennett departed for Pueblo to bring the remains home.

The coroner's jury heard witnesses describe how a Peckham girl died after a train strike near Gilcrest crossing. Fireman and engineer testified they did not flag the crossing, while Henline described flags waved and the train not slowing. The girl was thrown 112 feet with severe injuries. verdict pending.
Island Grove Park in Greeley hosts trotting and pacing races motorcycle and relay events and cow pony contests on July 5.
