Telephone Lines Reach Dover and Carr At Once
Special to The Republican Dover reports telephone communication with the outside world will begin tomorrow as lines extend from Nunn to Dover and Carr. Ranchers are expected to adopt phones, linking the district, with growth anticipated as new settlers arrive. In Nunn eleven phones ordered will connect Prairie View and Owl Creek to the Nunn exchange via wire fences used as lines.

Clever Dictograph Stunt In Colorado Trial Revealed
William Powell, Denver photographer, used a ruse to obtain interior photos of a saloon in Frederick for a Colorado case. The evidence showed men with glasses in hand, captured while a dictograph was placed to avoid suspicion. The Grinspan case earlier marked the first dictograph use in Colorado, aiding federal investigators.

Horses of Weld Do Damage and Injuries Reported
In Evans on January 31 Mrs. J P Klug of Greeley was thrown from her car to avoid a runaway horse and injured though not seriously. the car suffered heavy damage. In Peckham a horse belonging to L Sorenson kicked Joe Pumphrey after he fell from a haystack, breaking his jaw. the horse showed remorse and the youth was rushed to a physician for treatment.
