Cecil Clyde Stout Dies at Home in Greeley

Cecil Clyde Stout, 61, a Greeley landscape carpenter, died Saturday afternoon at his home 901 Sixth St. He was born in Greeley on July 1829, son of Edwin B. and BeBe Wilson Stout. Survived by brother James Stout of Denver and several nieces and nephews. Services set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Adamson Memorial Chapel with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Denver Man Killed at Grade Crossing Near Denver

A collision at an unmarked grade crossing northwest of Denver killed 66 year old John P. Knive of Denver. The diesel locomotive struck his northbound car as the Burlington passenger train, about 59 mph, dragged the wreckage 145 feet.
