Remains Found of 1944 New Guinea Plane Crash
The remains of ten men who died in a B25 crash on a New Guinea mountain in May 1944 have been found. The Army reports six survivors from the crew of three and seven passengers on an administrative mission between Nadzab and Saldor. General BR Lee wrote that in May 1959 a Lutheran mission at Lae had recovered Army publications from the wreckage found by natives near the headwaters of the Corap and Erap Rivers.

A jury of eight men and four women with one alternate was seated for the Burmeister burglary case in district court.
