Kentucky prison flood escapes and inmate evacuations

Prisoners were removed from blocks to upper cells and escorted in convoy to safety while guards and authorities coordinated mass evacuations and hosted temporary shelter for detainees including eighty women moved to a nearby building. Born in Mayo Ireland, he lived in the United States most of his life and retired from cycle work ten years ago. Survived by two sisters Olivia Gavin and Annie Tealaly in Germantown Pennsylvania and a brother Joseph in Ireland. Funeral service set for 9:30 Tuesday morning at St Peter's Catholic Church with interment at Linn Grove.
