Weld County Planning Commission approved site plans for Weatery Co. an oil and gas well service firm to be built in the DA Industrial Park along U.S. 85 a half mile north of Brighton, while tabling actions on two alleged illegal land splits near Kersey and Lucerne for legal study. Denver Trucker Dies In I-25 Crash Near Loveland
Jeff Holt, 45, of Denver died when his tractor trailer overturned and buried on Interstate 25 six miles southeast of Loveland. State Patrol reported a tire blowout caused the rig to cross the median, overturn, and burn. Holt was the sole occupant. The death raises Colorado’s highway toll for the year to 21, up from 1 on the same date last year.
