75 Present at 24th Last Squad Meeting

Seventy five members attended the 2th annual banquet and memorial services of the Last Squad of the American Legion held at Legion hall Thursday night. Capt Chester Danielson of the Salvation Army gave the invocation and memorial address. He honored all veterans who had died especially seven members of the Last Squad in 1960. Danielson spoke of sacrifice for country and duty beyond the battlefield. Paul Ladwick presided, with G. Rus Smith thanking attendees and presenting financials. Lodwick introduced members from Denver and nearby towns. The event included weather notes and scattered regional forecasts.

No Effect on 23 Due to Radiation

Ausmic Energy Commission says 23 men exposed to radiation after the nuclear reactor blast at ABC eastern Idaho testing station on January 3. None hospitalized, checkups show no clinical symptoms. The workers aided in recovering victims and assessing damage inside the reactor building. They may remain away from radiation sources for varying lengths of time based on total exposure.

Forecast describes Balorado temperatures around 312 degrees with small daily changes and little precipitation. Probe Starts Into Rioting At Georgia University

MACON Ga AP A move to readmit two Negro students to the University of Georgia came as both the Fayetteville Assembly and the Georgia Legislature opened separate investigations into rioting on the campus. The students were suspended after an anti integration demonstration in which stones and firecrackers were thrown and tear gas used by police. Constance Motley, attorney for Charlayne Hunter and Hamilton Holmes, asked US District Courts in Macon to reverse the suspension. The judge suggested filing a written motion and the court would reconvene at 2 p m today.
