Pioneer of Boulder Elbridge Green Dies After Chicago Trip
Elbridge Green, 76, homesteader near Dover, Colorado, collapsed after a Chicago sightseeing visit with his son and died at Dr. D W Reed's home. Arterial sclerosis and pulmonary edema caused the death. Survived by a wife, three daughters in Dover and California, and a son in Chicago. Funeral arrangements pending. burial likely in Boulder.

Dover Man Fred Gilman Missing Since Christmas
Dover January 11. Friends seek Fred Gilman who vanished after traveling to Greeley for a few days before Christmas. Efforts to locate him have failed in Greeley and Denver where he has friends. Gilman, employed by Thad Fluntt last summer, planned to farm with C. E. Barrows next year after buying about 36 dollars worth of seed.

Special to The Republican Ault January 11 arrangements have been made to place a cream receiving station in the Northern Implement and Produce company office. Cream from local farms has been tested and found to contain a large percent of butter fat. Nunn Eaton and Littleton are involved with plans for stations and most product will go to Littleton.

Jan 11 Kersey reports Will Mortimer bought a car for $4 only to learn it was stolen. Denver's EB Bowles had earlier found his car missing from in front of a bank in Weldona a few days prior. Mortimer was approached by a stranger offering the same vehicle for $4 and a ride to Weldona before Denver police identified the car as Bowles's stolen vehicle.
