LaSalle Jan 11 Chaimholders against the Denver Reservoir and Irrigation company have been summoned to Denver to attend a meeting tomorrow afternoon at Woodman hall. About 25 from here will attend. Work is expected to resume on the local projects January 15. Those traveling to Denver will be those with bills against the company right of way claims and land in the bonded district.

Greeley to Attend Opening of Denver Chamber Building
Greeley will be represented at the formal opening and dedication of the new Chamber of Commerce building on Champa street in Denver by I. Rothschild president of the Greeley Commercial club appointed at the directors meeting last night. Secretary J F McCrery will represent the club at the farmers meeting in Fort Collins and may speak on the importance of accurate crop statistics by county authorities. The next Commercial club banquet is set for Monday evening January 23 with program planning to begin at once.

Peculiar Accident May Cost An Eye
James Clements a Northern Colorado Power Company employee suffered a deep steel sliver wound to one eye while at the Orr blacksmith shop on Seventh street. The incident likely endangers his sight as he sought medical care after blood appeared on his handkerchief. Clements resides in Boulder and recently came to work at the electric sub station. Historic brick to have place in new church
A brick from England used in Jamestown’s first Episcopal church in 1607 will be set in stone as the keystone of the baptistry arch in the new Episcopal church of Greeley. Rev. Bonell acquired the brick during a Jamestown visit. The church plans now include niches beside the main archway and progress suggests Easter completion if weather stays favorable.
