Farm Bureau College Opens Session in Marshall’s Cafeteria

Uraniumm Miner Arraigned for Murder in Montrose

Frank Sharp, a 23 year old uranium miner, was arraigned before Dist. Judge Dan Hughes on a murder charge. The victim was G I Gilliatt, a Nucla garage operator found beaten near Naturita. Sharp admitted beating him after a car repair dispute and was jailed without bond. The judge granted legal aid and delayed the plea hearing.
